Run a script globally (for situations where you just want to something not against an agent or specific client)

This may seem something that sounds a little odd, but when you have the requirement for this it makes perfect sense. This is designed for scripts that don’t actually need to be run on an agent. Maybe you want to execute a piece of PowerShell code using a LabTech script, or maybe you want to perform SQL queries against the database on a scheduled basis.

Step 1 – Set the script as a “Client script” in the dropdown option in the script editor.

Step 2 – Go into the System Dashboard and go to Management > Scheduled Client Scripts

From here you can select your script and add it!
