I see this question raised a lot – and there is a simple way to resolve it.
On the agent run the script in Maintenance > Agent > Probe – Remove from an Offline Agent. That’s all that is needed!

This worked, thank you!
On the agent run the script in Maintenance > Agent > Probe – Remove from an Offline Agent
I tried the above and the probe is still seen listed on the Automate control center, will it take some time ? I was wondering if the entry just goes away for that probe from the control center.
Also dont you think we need to disable the probe before running the maintenance script ?
Ran the script but its just stuck on scheduled, do i need to reboot the Automate server in order for this action to complete?
Simply browsing to the script and clicking “OK” will not do the job. You need to take the following steps:
1) Set the time to start for a minute or two ahead of the current time.
2) Set the field “SetToOneToForceRemoval” to “1”
3) Click “OK”.
4) Refresh occasionally until you see that the probe has been removed.
